It has been a busy couple weeks for me as Miss Pearl City's Outstanding Teen. However, with Miss Iowa approaching, things are only about to get more crazy!
For instance, this past weekend I was able to attend the Miss Greater Des Moines pageant. It was great to be able to see other title holders and the new competitors. Congratulations to Miss Greater Des Moines, Kourtney Richards, Miss Greater Des Moines Outstanding Teen, Bailey Johnson, and to all the directors of the Miss Greater Des Moines program. All of the ladies were very talented and it was a great show! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get pictures with the new title holders because they were rushed off to judges critics, but here are the pictures I could get! :)

I have also been working a lot on my platform. Today I made a trip down to my former elementary school to visit with a second grade class. It was a great experience. All of the students were really engaged into what was going on and seemed to know a lot about living healthy! My overall goal with this class is to get them active and eating healthy. Were even going to get them involved in the presidents challenge!

Ill continue to update what happens in the class and in other parts of my preparations. It may be a busy time, but it will all be worth it in June! :)
