Busy, Busy Me!

Hello Everyone!

I apologize for the time between posts. Ive been so busy with everything that high school has to offer. Being involved in Cheer leading, Show choir, Debate, and trying to get prepared for Miss Iowa takes a lot of work.

Cheer has been a big part of my life since I was in seventh grade. My love for cheer began before that, I remember days at recess trying to make up my own cheers and getting others to do them too. It was because of this that it was no surprise when I decided to become a cheerleader. Years spent learning new skills, and most importantly making new friends.

Debate has also been a huge part of my life since middle school. Being in debate has not only allowed me to make new friends, but to work on my public speaking and knowledge about current even topics. It has been so much fun to be involved with this as long as I have, and I know I will only continue to improve.

Show Choir is a new addition to my extra-curricular activities, but it is not of less importance. Being in show choir allows me to perform and further my singing out side of my school choir. The details put into one show are things that I would have never thought of. The Thrill during a performance, and the great feeling after leaving the stage knowing we gave it our all is what I love

Somewhere in all of this is when I begin preparations for Miss Iowa. I still have a long way to go, but I believe I'm making good progress. I cant wait to see where I go and the opportunities I will receive in the next few months. I will continue to keep you updated as best as I can.

Thank you for all your support!
Jessica :)
